These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Talent by St. Lucia Studio platform at talent.stlucia.studio (the "Platform"), operated by St. Lucia Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By registering, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Not create multiple accounts or accounts on behalf of others without authorization

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Platform, including your profile information, video resumes, photos, and documents ("Your Content"). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Store, display, and distribute Your Content through the Platform
  • Show Your Content to employers and other users as part of the Platform's services
  • Create thumbnails or previews of your video content

This license exists only for the purpose of operating the Platform and terminates when you delete Your Content or your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Upload content that is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal
  • Use the Platform to harass, spam, or harm others
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically collect data from the Platform
  • Use the Platform for any purpose other than professional talent showcasing and job seeking
  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Platform Services

The Platform currently provides:

  • Free talent profile creation and management
  • Video resume recording and upload
  • PDF resume upload and storage
  • Profile visibility to potential employers

We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Future features, including employer access and premium talent services, may involve fees which will be clearly communicated before implementation.

6. No Employment Guarantee

The Platform connects talent with potential employers but does not guarantee employment, interviews, or any specific outcomes. We are not a recruitment agency and do not make hiring decisions. We are not responsible for the actions, decisions, or conduct of employers or other users on the Platform.

7. Video Resume Guidelines

When recording or uploading video resumes, you agree to:

  • Present yourself honestly and professionally
  • Not include content that is offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate
  • Ensure you have the right to share any content shown in your video
  • Respect the privacy of others (do not include other individuals without their consent)

Videos that violate these guidelines may be removed without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of St. Lucia Studio and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without our written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, St. Lucia Studio and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, data loss, or service interruptions.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your profile will be deactivated and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms with a new date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Saint Lucia.
