- Display your profile to potential employers (based on your settings)
- Store and serve your video resumes and uploaded documents
- Send you account-related communications (welcome emails, profile tips)
- Improve the Platform and develop new features

- Prevent fraud and ensure platform security
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information in the following circumstances:
- Public profile: Your profile information (excluding email and phone) is visible to employers and other users when your profile status is set to "active."
- Employers: When employers access the platform (Phase 2), they may view your profile, skills, and video resume. Contact details are shared only with your consent or through our contact features.
- Service providers: We use Supabase for data storage and authentication, and may use additional services for analytics and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure hosted in the United States (East region). We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Row-level security on database tables
- Secure authentication with hashed passwords
- Access controls on file storage buckets
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
5. Your Rights

- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us

6. Video Content
Video resumes you record or upload are stored in our secure storage system. Videos are associated with your profile and may be viewed by employers using the Platform. You may delete your video at any time from your profile settings. Deleted videos are permanently removed from our storage within 30 days.

We use minimal cookies and tracking technologies:
- Authentication cookies: To keep you logged in to your account
- Analytics: We may use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Plausible) that do not use cookies or track personal data
- Referral tracking: We use URL parameters to track referral sources (stored in your browser's local storage)
We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.
